It's Time to Repeal the Un-American 22nd Amendment

The Founding Fathers Did NOT Believe in Limiting Presidential Terms

They discussed and debated it at length. Hamilton wrote an entire "Federalist" paper about presidential term limits.

And our wise founders decided against such limits.

The misguided 22nd Amendment was passed in 1947 to impose arbitrary limits on how many times a president can serve. For more than 150 years, no such constraints existed.

The Repeal of an Amendment

The ill-conceived "Prohibition" Amendment of 1919 banning alcohol was overturned and cancelled because the American people realized it had been a mistake.

22nd Amendment - A Historic Misstep

It's time to recognize we made an error with the 22nd Amendment that limits presidents to two terms - and repeal it, just like we did with Prohibition.
